Well, the getting fit in the 2014 really has not happened.
Sheila had a cold through Christmas and New Year, then we went out for a short spin on the tandem (Thorn upright), hit a patch of black ice and came off. John a bit battered, but Sheila sustained a serious head cut and broken collar bone. Result no cycling for 6 weeks.
Finally mended in time to go on holiday to Portugal. Sightseeing, sitting in a car and no cycling.
Sheila’s second cold of the year.
And at last out on Gertie Greenspeed for a short run to Beaulieu before taking on Watership Down. Our no fitness level really showed as we struggled around making hard work crawling up the hills in the slowest possible time (too embarrassed to admit to what our time actually was)
